The GrassCast
The GrassCast is a weekly audio podcast brought to you by The Bluegrass Blog, which features interviews and conversations with bluegrass performers, educators, newsmakers and personalities. You’ll hear what your favorite artists are doing, catch pre-release samples from their upcoming CD projects, and find out what they have coming up in the near future.
Each 10-15 minute GrassCast episode can be played from within your browser window, downloaded to your hard drive for listening at your convenience - or you may prefer to subscribe for free from Apple’s iTunes Music Store to listen to them on your iPod. iTunes subscriptions are automatically downloaded as they are released, so each new episode will be ready the next time you open iTunes.
You can find the current and all previous Grasscasts here. If you scroll down this page, you can either listen to each podcast in turn using the flash audio player, or download any mp3 files you choose to your desktop.
Each episode is hosted by Brance Gillihan of Clear Blue Poductions and John Lawless of AcuTab Publications, the primary authors of The Bluegrass Blog. Brance and John”s work inside the bluegrass music business allow them both access to the artists, and an insight into the inner workings of the bluegrass world.
